Al Hill Boiler has immediate openings for boiler mechanics/repairmen. You will have on job training for this position.
Skills Needed: Experience in repair of industrial boilers and/or mechanical systems is a plus but not necessary, great attitude to work in a team setting, willing to listen and learn from your superiors, self -motivated, safety awareness, pipe fitting (threaded and welded), soldering, rigging, welding (SMAW and can be taught) and using a torch.
Must have a good driving record and valid ID.
Must pass routine drug screens.
Must be able to work in confined spaces accessible through an 11” x 15” manway opening.
Must pass a DOT physical.
Must have the physical ability to carry heavy material routinely.
Must be able to work at a fast, but safe work pace.
Must live near the Mobile area or be willing to relocate.
Must be 21 or older.
This position will involve occasional short-term travel mainly during the week, and occasional weekend work. Travel will be in a company vehicle with all expenses paid.
